Hi! I'm Cheryl Green, Principal & Lead Facilitator at Coplexity, a consulting company focused on helping leaders and organizations use their collective capacity to solve complex problems.

Cheryl has a background in education and has served as a teacher, principal and district leader in multiple school districts. Her most fulfilling work came while living in the Mississippi Delta and working in a variety of roles in education. During that time, she helped to co-create the REACH (Revitalizing Educational Awareness of Change) Institute that helped students in the region to access college and universities across the country.

After ten years, Cheryl moved to Memphis and took on multiple roles with New Leaders, Inc. that included training school principals and leading leadership effectiveness work with legacy Memphis City Schools. She transitioned to the roles of Senior Consultant/Managing Director with Insight Education Group where she helped with teacher and leadership effectiveness projects with the Tennessee Department of Education, Syracuse City Schools, Baltimore Public Schools, Shelby County Schools and UNO Charter Network in Chicago to name a few. Since 2015, Cheryl has been helping organizations with program planning and implementation, meeting and session facilitation and organizational development.

Coplexity has been engaged in projects such as creating an expansion strategy for in-school and community fellows program, facilitating implementation of culturally relevant practices at an elementary school, and assisting with HR screening and selection, among other things. Overall, the work is driven by helping organizations create systemic change, resolve conflict, help teams work more efficiently and move projects from strategy to action. Cheryl has a BS in Secondary Education from Alabama A&M University, a M.Ed. from Delta State University and is certified in the field of Human Systems Dynamics.

One of the first things I appreciated about Cheryl was her desire to implement a process by which we would work together while honoring who we were in the work. She is not like other consultants I've worked with in the past. She used practices and framework of how we could co-create together while reminding me that my voice and opinion was as valid as hers. Our time spent was fruitful, fulfilling and empowering. We've worked on several projects since our initial partnership, and I always know that when we work together, we will deliver impactful outcomes and tangible results.

In my work with Cheryl this year, I have been inspired by her deep commitment to community. Cheryl ensures that we pursue deep understanding of the people and places we serve, while also advocating for true local partnership and collaboration.
